How to register for the Barclays app
Download the app from your App Store or Google Play. You’ll need
An Apple iPhone, iPad, or an Android mobile device
Your debit card and PIN (if you have a current account with us)

Are you already registered for the app?
If you’ve already registered for the app on one mobile device and now want to use it on another, you can use your first device to speed things up. You’ll need to have a current account with us to do this.
You must be 16 or over and have an eligible product or account to use the Barclays app. Terms and conditions apply. The Barclays app only works with Android 5.0 and above, iOS 11 and above. Your service provider may charge for internet access from your phone.

How to use Barclays app ID
With app ID, we can check that you are who you say you are on the phone and in branch, simply by sending a secure notification to your device. And if we call you, you can use app ID to check that it’s us.

Download the Barclays app. Once registered, Mobile PINsentry can take up to 10 days to appear in your app
Log in to your app using your unique app passcode
Tap on your account management menu in the top left-hand corner of your app. You’ll then see the option for Mobile PINsentry
To log in to Online Banking using Mobile PINsentry, tap ‘IDENTIFY’ on your Mobile PINsentry. This will generate a unique eight-digit code
Go to your Online Banking login page and select the ‘Log in with mobile PINsentry’ option. This will prompt you to enter the unique eight-digit code generated by your Mobile PINsentry
You’re now protected and can start using our full range of services in Online Banking
This is used to identify you when making changes to your account details. For example, you’ll be asked to use ‘IDENTIFY’ for:
Setting up Text Alerts
Changing your address
Making payments to new people or businesses
Managing regular payments
Changing your login preferences/personal details
This is used to sign for payments – like a virtual signature. You’ll be asked to use the ‘SIGN’ button when making a new payment in Online Banking.
This is used to verify your identity when setting up a new service with us. You’ll be asked to use ‘RESPOND’ to:
